Imagine our surprise when Hannah Montana came to our house for a visit. Poor Paige missed the whole thing, and she is Hannahs biggest fan! Funny thing though, Hannah acted and sounded a lot like Paige. It was a fun day.

Brookes haircut
Brooke had her first haircut since she was a baby. She is such a big girl now! Her hair was so long, we had to cut it. She was so excited...I had cut the other kids hair, and she cried because she wanted hers cut, too. We told her we had to take her the hair salon, and she got really excited. She chose to have bangs cut...she looks so much older now. Our baby is growing up.

Fairy houses

Paige, Brooke, and I had so much fun making our fairy house. We had to use all natural materials, and we could only use things that were already on the ground...no picking allowed. We had an acorn cap for a cup, a leaf for a blanket, and a rock for a pillow. The fairies also had a little yard to play in, a walkway, and a little rest area at the side of the house. I think some fairies must have enjoyed this beautiful house before it fell apart. I do have to admit that our building skills are not the best, but it was tons of fun and it got their little imaginations going. That's the whole point, right?
Summertime
This summer has turned out way different from the way I planned it. I am working as a substitute for GMDO on Mondays and Fridays until mid August. I was a little upset about going back, but I decided to make the best of it and enjoy my extra time with the babies. We have some great kids in that class!
My kids are keeping me busy. Just trying to keep up with the house is a full time job! We are excited about starting homeschool, and we are working at getting everything ready. We have most of our curriculum...Thanks Jennifer...and we are just working on getting our space ready. Paige wants to start right now, but I'm not ready yet!!!! I have tried to do some fun little projects with their imaginations and creativity going. I think that has been the best part of our summer.
